Hearing this was like discovering 70s Dylan or London Calling for the first time. Derivative yet strikingly original, the songs are immediately enjoyable and melodies get stuck in your ear for days. Daniel Romano is authentic. He borrows and transforms.The Outfit are a cracking band. Raw though sophisticated, sincere yet sly. This is one I'll keep coming back to.
